Postal Stationery Newspaper Wrappers and Post Bands from CANADA

The dimensions of these wrappers is approximate - the dimensions given are the smallest known size. The size can be as much as 10mm more than the figures quoted here.

Newspaper wrappers from Canada are commonly referred to as either wrappers or post bands. The description "wrapper" is applied to newspaper wrappers which were intended for use by publishers and carried a two line inscription “THIS WRAPPER IS TO BE USED ONLY BY PUBLISHERS...”. The term “Post Band” is applied to newspaper wrappers which were available to the general public without this message.

Wrappers 001 to 007 were printed by the British American Bank Note Co Ltd.
